The 2023 is our thirteenth vintage of Chardonnay produced from our estate! If you did not know better and you tasted the wine, you could easily be transported to Chablis where you find this style of chardonnay. Chardonnay aficionados believe this style of chardonnay represents the purest interpretation of grape, due in large part to the simplicity which highlights the true vinous (character of fruit as it came from the vineyard – usually primary nose and flavor).  

This is Estate grown fruit is from Chardonnay blocks R,V,W. The wine has a lovely citrus and white flower nose with lean, light to medium bodied palate that shows hints of citrus, pear, and a touch of minerality on the finish. Many times you will get a burst of acidity on the finish with this style but the time on the lees and battonage give you this lovely long finish. The lean, elegant style of Chardonnay allows you to pair the wine with a wide variety of foods – complimentary and congruent. pairs well with oysters and other shellfish, fish, mushrooms, and cheeses like goat, Comte, and mature cheddar.  Drink now through 2028.
