Another crowd-pleasing rosé from Stone Tower!  This is second rosé we have made from Nebbiolo and the first in stainless steel. If we think of the red wines – Nebbiolo, Barolo, and Barbaresco as the king of wines surely this rosé must be the queen. This wine is fascinating and is particularly exciting as it captures the character of the fruit as it came from the vineyard because of the use of stainless steel. The wine is fresh and vibrant with exiting fresh fruit flavors of strawberries, red currant, cherry with a touch of lime zest. The wine is clean and crisp and perfect for a spring and summer day. It has slightly higher tannin which excites the palate. The finish is loveley and lingers much longer than other rosé wines. The fresh fruitiness makes it perfect for pairing traditional light fare as well as heartier dishes like grilled pork.  It will also pair beautifully with fish or do a beautiful creamy pasta with salmon and enjoy. a real summer crowd pleaser is a watermelon salad with feta and basil – What a great rosé! – enjoy now through 2024!
