As we often say, our Estate Rosé wines have an almost cult-like following. This wine will join the others and fascinate all that taste it. This is our first Rosé produced from our Estate Nebbiolo. It is sometimes hard to imagine a Rosé made from the same grape used for Barolo and Barbaresco. The fruit produces reds that are referred to as the wine of kings and the King of wines. Rosé produced from Nebbiolo are every bit as memorable and sometimes referred to as the Queen of Rosé Wines. This wine deserves the title as it is captivating and will engage the most discerning wine enthusiasts with its power and grace. This Rosé has fruit-forward flavors of strawberries, red currant, and touch of citrus like limes and grapefruit. It is supple and soft and has a lovely fruity finish. Due to its higher tannin the Rosé is slightly darker in color, and the neutral oak aging adds a creamy round texture to the wine. Its body and fruitiness make it perfect for pairing heartier dishes than many rosé wines: grill a hearty fish, or pork tenderloin, prepare some lovely creamy pasta with salmon and enjoy – this is a super Rosé – enjoy now through 2025.
