The 2020 Stone Tower Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Select is the first wine we have created with this name. What does this mean? – when the winemaking team tasted through barrels of 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, four stood out as unique and outstanding.  The team decided to age this wine longer (18 months) to gain the complexity and elegance you find in this wine. It has a unique character where the fruit – white peach, and apricot, often found in old word styles, is complemented and softened with the characteristics introduced with the new oak. We find a beautiful full-bodied wine with a hint of beeswax, jasmine flowers and honeysuckle and a touch of vanilla and almond on the finish.  This wine will pair with the traditional foods which compliment Sauvignon Blanc like goat’s milk cheese and a variety of vegetable and fish dishes. Because of the richness of this wine roasted fish, with thyme, pasta with shrimp and herbs and ricer more complex dishes bring out the best in the wine.  Drink now through 2025!
