2019 Estate Wind Swept Hill
This wine is a beautiful example of a Right Bank Bordeaux style wine where wines are traditionally made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This wine’s primary varietal is Cabernet Franc, followed by Merlot, and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a lovely round texture, soft tannins with hints of, black cherries, licorice, black and red plums, and chocolate. As the wines ages, we suspect you will find more tobacco, truffle, dark chocolate and earthy notes. This 2019 Wind Swept Hill pairs well with terrines made with duck and game, slightly sweet cheeses such as Comte, Roast duck, lamb, pasta and pizza.
