2019 Estate Chardonnay Reserve
The 2019 Reserve Chardonnay is produced from the same harvest – vineyard on the State as its Stainless-steel sister the Estate 2019. This wine is elevaged in oak and is reminiscent of a white Burgundy. The white wines of Burgundy are thought of as the “gold standard” of Chardonnay. The wine is an easy-drinking Chardonnay with some fresh apple and citrus notes. The wine is slightly nutty with a roundness produced from the oak barrel aging. Chardonnay is our oldest vineyard block, planted in 2009. We now have approximately 13 acres across the diverse micro-climates and soils of our property’s southeastern exposure.
