Without question, 2018 was the most challenging vintage encountered by our team on Hogback Mountain, and for the entire state, it was arguably the most difficult, as it was one of the rainest years on record. However, through incredible determination in the vineyard and miraculous work in the cellar, we've produced this beatiful wine to tell the story of the season. Our Mouton Noir ('Black Sheep') is a true celebration of our history, unique terroir, and tireless team. This medium-bodied Bordeaux-style blend was aged for 18 months and is superbly elegant, amazingly food-friendly, and ready to drink immediately!
