The 2017 Wild Boar Porton is made from the Norton Grape and sourced from Middleburg, VA.  We use Catoctin Creek Brandy to fortify this wine and the combination of the two results in a silky-smooth port style wine. Port style wines are categorized as digestif (after dinner drinks). The flavors include black currant, black cherry, plums, chocolate, dill, and some pepper. The characteristics of this wine make it a perfect candidate for a port style wine.
