2014 Estate Rose
This stunning blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cab Franc is the perfect wine to please everyone. Outside of the US (especially France), dry rosés are revered as they bridge the dichotomy of red versus white wine. They bear a slight resemblance to their much loved red wines (in their color and red fruit flavors), but with their dry, crisp mouthfeel, dry rosés provide much needed refreshment. Further, given their similarities to both red and white wines, roséshave incredible food versatility. They have a lightness and freshness that is perfect for lighter fare (e.g., salads, charcuteries, fish, etc.), but they often have slightly higher tannins, body, and fruit, which allows them to stand up to more substantial dishes (e.g., grilled foods, pizza, etc.)
