This Chardonnay presents with a brilliant clarity and a pale yellow-green complexion. The nose is greeted with tangerine peel, green pear and honeydew melon, complimented by a hint of white peach. Medium-bodied with a crisp acidity, the wine opens up across the pallet with a smooth finish.
Our signature Bordeaux style red blend. A beautiful mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot our 2013 Sanglier Noble exudes a brilliant ruby red color with aromas of ripe red fruits, rose petal, cedar, clove, tobacco, and a sprinkling of white pepper. This superbly structured wine is incredibly approachable in its youth, but promises to offer even richer rewards for patience and cellaring.
Presenting with brilliant clarity and a deep garnet color to the rim, the wine exudes a wonderful nose of bright red fruits - cranberries, raspberries and strawberry jam - with notes of cinnamon and clove from nicely integrated oak. On the palate, the red fruits create a marriage of sweet and tart flavors with lovely fruity acidity shining through the very fine tannins. Enjoy with plum jam and manchego crostini, mushroom stew, and brie.
Malbec lovers rejoice! Always one of our most popular, we are thrilled to release our 2016 Wild Boar Malbec. A noble grape of Bordeaux, this varietal gained popularity in Argentina, known for its jammy characteristics. Aged in neutral French Oak barrels, a full body of cinnamon and vanilla is complemented by blackberry cobbler and rhubarb pie. Ever changing in the glass, allow this wine to open up to display its elegance and many layers. Incredibly drinkable on its own, this wine is also the perfect accompaniment to our Wild Boar pizza.
Don’t let the movie Sideways fool you, Merlot is a force to be reckoned with! With a natural vigor in the vines and a resilience in the market, Merlot is one of the most popular and recognizable varietals in the world. With ripe red fruit flavors on the nose and a back palate of dark chocolate, our 2016 vintage of Wild Boar Merlot is sure to be a people pleaser. French Oak aging is evident in the bouquet of baking spices that leap out of the glass and a finish that lingers long after the last drop. Easy to drink now, this wine will continue to develop and shine for years when cellared.
